Text Box: ERATH COUNTY COURTHOUSE Stephenville, Texas Completed in 1892, the Erath County Courthouse was designed by noted architect James Riely Gordon of San Antonio who would go on to be the pre-imminent courthouse architect in Texas. Norman Alston Architects prepared a preservation master plan and guided the ensuing $2 million interior and exterior restoration.
