Dallas is seeing a great deal of change in it's urban fabric, changes which have exposed needs and conflicts for it's historic buildings and areas that are unlike those seen in the past. AIA Dallas' response has been to study this evolution and to issue a new Policy Statement on Local Architectural Heritage, to be officially debuted at this presentation. I am honored to have led the committee that developed this policy statement and to included in the associated panel discussion with leading urban design experts like real estate specialist Cris Jordan, former city council member Veletta Lill, and Moderator/urban planner/landscape architect Kevin Sloan. We'll be discussing Dallas' historic urban fabric and what it means to future urban development. Should be a great evening.
